Borussia Dortmund Take 1-0 Lead to Paris in Champions League Semi-Final

Niclas Fullkrug Goal Gives Dortmund Advantage

Paris, France - Borussia Dortmund took a 1-0 lead to Paris in their Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday, thanks to a first-half goal from Niclas Fullkrug.

Fullkrug scored the only goal of the game in the 27th minute, heading home a cross from Julian Brandt. Dortmund could have extended their lead before halftime, but Erling Haaland missed a penalty in the 41st minute.

Paris Saint-Germain improved in the second half, but they were unable to find an equalizer. Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel made several key saves to keep his team in the lead.

The second leg of the semi-final will take place at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund on May 14. Dortmund will be looking to hold onto their lead and reach the Champions League final for the first time since 2013.
