Christian Eckes rallies late for victory at Martinsville
Hocevar finishes 29th after crash, remains fourth in standings
Christian Eckes rallied late to win Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway. Eckes took the lead from Chandler Smith with five laps to go and held on for the victory. It was Eckes' second win of the season and his first at Martinsville.
Chandler Smith finished second, followed by John Hunter Nemechek, Carson Hocevar, and Matt Crafton. Hocevar's 29th-place finish dropped him to fourth in the championship standings, 24 points behind leader Kyle Busch.
Busch dominated Friday's NASCAR Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. Busch led 132 of the 147 laps and won by a margin of 5.5 seconds over Chandler Smith. It was Busch's first win of the season and his 64th in the Truck Series.
The next race on the NASCAR Truck Series schedule is scheduled for April 29 at Richmond Raceway.
